Bump, I was hoping you got some response to this. It seems like everyone wants to RAISE the seats in their Taco, I want mine lower so my head is farther from the roof.

I want to be lower as well. Lots of info on swapping manual seats for 3rd gen powered seats. Couple users have shared they feel like it goes slightly lower.
I call the local wrecking yard weekly looking for one. Quoted me somewhere between 300-400

The power seats from the newer 3rd gen Tacos are lower? I have a 2017 with heated seats but there weren't any power options for the seats that year. For a seat that actually lowered the seating position even 3-4 inches, I'd be interested, but $3-400 per seat is probably a bit higher than I'd want to go, esp. from a junkyard.

I just want the rear of my driver seat to come down farther. The front goes more than low enough for me.

I doubt you’re going to find any seat that is 3 inches lower than the OEM seating positon, but definitely let me know if you do!
Also if you are serious about swapping an entire seat, you will need to adjust your expectations on what that will cost. $400 is absolutely junk yard price for an entire seat with leather, airbags, heaters and motors.
There’s lots of posts here about 3rd gen electric seat swaps, but even if they do go lower it’d only be maybe 0.5 - 1 inch.

Definitely going to dig into that one some more. Sounds like they had to use some sort of adapter/bracket to make it work , but I could work with that.
