    My speedometer is not working. Looking for part number 33403-39495. It is discontinued. Any thoughts of where I may find this? Or if a similar part would work out of a different Toyota? I don’t care if my speed is slightly off. I was referred here by local Toyota dealership. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to TW, OP! :hattip::wave:

    Tacomas that get totaled rarely end up in salvage yards. They tend to end up at insurance auctions, and the ones that aren't able to be repaired put back on the road with a rebuilt title are generally purchased by commercial operations that strip them and sell them piece by piece. I have no idea if your issue is with the connection or the actual gauge, but I would guess that you could find the part you need online from a company that strips totaled truck.

    My HVAC control module shorted out and the dealer wanted over $1,000 for a new one; I found one online, out of a totaled truck, for less than $200.

    @ColoradoTJ, isn't it awesome that dealerships are turning potential customers to TW now?!?!

    Might be worth finding a local speedo shop and seeing if they can help
    I've had one build a replacement speedo cable before
