I received the weather stripping for the front lip of the rear door and installed it. It fit perfectly. Part numbers below
    67895-AK010
    67896-AK010

I also ordered the parts for the front door based on info from dealer and they were the wrong numbers:
    67865-AK030
    67866-AK030
20250117_100849.jpg 20250117_103135.jpg 20250117_102752.jpg 20250117_103345.jpg The dealer gave me the wrong numbers and I ordered online so now it would cost me 1/2 of their cost in shipping if I try to return them. I think though I can fit them on the area where the rear of the rear door meets the cab. They just need a little trimming.

The correct parts on the other hand are:
    67865-AK020
    67866-AK020

This is a mock up of where i think the wrong parts can fit.

I need the front ones. It was windy today and I didn't notice any difference with the 2 I installed already. I hear wind noise in the front though of course some of that is coming from the ditch lights that I installed on the truck.

I just installed and my ears didn't detect any noticable difference. The wind noise I mostly hear is coming from A pillar area so it is possible it is coming from my ditch lights. So I am going to conclude that this stripping will help with less junk and road grime entering from that space rather than reducing wind noise. Having said this. I may weather seal the bottom edge of all doors and the rear edge of rear door to reduce / eliminate road grime in my jambs.

Wait. You have an $xx,xxx priced truck and weather stripping is an accessory?

As far as the noise that may be ditch lights, can't you pop one off and test to verify?

This is door gasketing that does not come on truck, but Toyota sells separately?

I get noise from the back, but I think it is rear tire noise not wind. I have the doors lined with sound deadener and that changed nothing. I want to see if I can get some sound deadener in the back corner to see if that reduces the noise. I need to look into it more when the weather warms up.

The back plastics comes apart real easy to SD the rear wall, specially if you have the jbl system...
    Assuming:
Think the weather strip he is using isn't additional WS that can be purchase to further seal as in an additional accessory, its additional WS that's already on the vehicle & he's repurposing / doubling up...

That right there tells me it's not needed if it didn't come on the truck. Would you happen to know if any trucks come with the accessory weather stripping from the factory? Maybe Limited, Pro, or Trailhunter.

I have no idea. I am just confused that Toyota sells weather strip that does no come on the truck. Maybe it is on a different model???

Tks, yes I have JBL. It did not look to bad, but this cold weather just shut down the process for a few months. I popped the one panel off around the sub woofer and just shook my head in disappointment and put the panel back on.

    Doubling the weather strip? Ok

That was my confusion too. I'm sure the weather striping provides a better seal, but if it's not on there from the factory Toyota dors not think it's necessary. My guess is the stripping is standard on some upper trims.

What happens when you take your 4G to the dealer for wind noise and you point out your truck did not come with weather stripping that Toyota sells separately?

Latest universal weather stripping images for hood, front and rear doors. I have 18" wheels and the truck is pretty quiet now. I only wind noise I hear is coming from the ditch lights which is to be expected. However, I can't honestly say which was the biggest contributor.IMG20250130122829.jpg IMG20250130122843.jpg IMG20250130122901.jpg
