Can anyone tell me how close I need to get my Cams to TDC when putting on the timing belt? I’m struggling to keep the cams/cranks in position as I fight the belt on. The R cam is perfect and so is the crank. The L cam looks like this. Send it or get it perfect? Those paint marks are way off not looking at those.

I dont see a problem. Take the plugs out so it turns over easy by a ratchet and roll it over 2 or 3 times then recheck your timing marks.

Looks fine to me as well if the crank is at TDC and the tensioner is released, it will never be exact with a new belt but should be within 1/2 tooth.
