Hi, I’m looking to upgrade the stock shocks and struts on my 2011 6spd Trd sport and need some recs.

I don’t crawl or go over-landing, I like to go fast. Usually end up on utv type of trails since I live next to sand hollow. I daily my taco so I’m on road most of the time but tend to get out at least once a week. I was reading up on different company’s and how they compare to each other. Im 20 years old so I don’t have a ton of cash to throw down, looking for around $500 on marketplace. ( I know, another person being specific who can’t afford to be specific lol). I figured I’d ask the people who know just about everything their opinion before I commit to the wrong set. Thanks

What creates the lift you have?

Right now I’m just running leveling spacers up front. I already grabbed SPC ucas and am either going to grab an AAL or an rxt leaf pack for when I get new shocks and struts.

low mile take offs from a 3g OR would work well and be quite budget friendly. Upgrade the front springs to create your lift and ditch the spacers.

@memario1214 from hotshot offroad could likely help with spring selection when you find the take offs.

Bilstein 5100s seem to get great reviews for what they cost, you might look into those. They will also give you some additional downtravel if you have it raised up a bit (I run Fox 2.5 DSCs, great for "fast", but you did say you don't have a lot to spend... So Bilstein). I occasionally see used sets for sale in the Marketplace (Buy / Sell / Trade) sections here. Shocks from both 2nd-gen and 3rd-gen will fit yours.
