Yep, anything more than 10 footers wouldn’t work.

Got a new kayak mount launched too, for longer yaks and boards!

@BillieBars i got a 8’9” kayak and was hoping to keep the kayak over the bed. Do you recommend I don’t like this or with your Mount? It seems i deal for longer boars. I wanna balance aero dynamics with functionally here. Hey please let me know.

@Road_Warrior do you have to use the j hook style kayak holders to mount to bed? I guess it saves the most space?

What soft topper is that? Looks like a good setup.

For shorter kayaks we od have customers running them directly on our bars with these mounts:
    https://www.amazon.com/AA-Products-...refix=kayak+rack+for+roof,aps,66&sr=8-16&th=1

We are also launching a new kayak mount very shortly that will be a lot easier to load too!

Thanks! That is the the Softopper brand. Very happy with it. The rack is pretty versatile, with stacker and two outboard bike mounts, it makes a pretty good shuttle vehicle

Sorry know this is old, you ever have any issues with half attached to cab half bed since they can move independent? I have almost this exact setup with the same leer cap, and want to put a 14' prowler on top, such a huge boat, was worried about only having it on the cap, also not sure if the angle would work out right.

Using the harbor freight bed extender with 10 and 12' kayaks.

This is looking too sketchy. I'm ordering a bed extender

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
A 10' is no problem. Two will fit just fine.

I'd get a bed extender if you want to transport a 12'.

Two 10.5-ft kayaks, 1 12-ft canoe, 2 mountain bikes, and a bunk of junk with the Yakima Overhaul. Adjustable height, which is great because this canoe has a steep bow and stern so it would rub the cab roof unless it's at the top of the rack. I'd be able to fit both kayaks beside the canoe if I had a vertical kayak stacker. 60 inch bar.

5.5' bed, CBI aluminum rack, Yakima JayHooks with extended bolts to fit the bed rack cross bars. Works really well with Pungo 105s... clears the cab and isn't too difficult to toss up on the rack.
