Getting pretty close to pulling the trigger on a TRD OR. Anyone managed to get a good deal lately? If so what dealership?

Options I want come out to about $51K on the website builder what should I be trying to negotiate down to? Or are most people just paying MSRP?

Lastly, how hard is it going to be to get a Bronze Oxide OR in manual with the options I want? Can dealers order one in or do they just get whatever Toyota sends them? Hearing mixed opinions on this.

I got mine about $4500 under MSRP with zero cost on dealer add ons

Longo Toyota in SoCal and mossy in San Diego had nearly identical pricing when I bought

Blue Crush ain’t so bad haha. Saw a white one in San Marcos TX advertised with $10K off MSRP but I want Bronze Oxide or could maybe settle for Silver.

large discounts are to be had if you play your cards right, dont give in to their greed...
especially if you have a few handful ++ of toyota dealers in your county....
then you play the against one another...

heavier discounts w/ vehicles on the lot vs you reserving something in allocation, thats where they try & play you & less of a discount as its something specific you want, its not on the lot yet, etc...

I expect these vehicles to continue getting marked down. Why else would they be priced so high? I don’t see the demand for them like the prior generations. Not yet anyways.

The monthly sales are near the top of all time Tacoma sales. There absolutely is demand like previous generations

Might help you if you mentioned where you live and how far you are willing to go

Nope. They can swap with other dealers if the have something close, but 'orders' are long gone. Unfortunately the build feature on the web leads one to believe they can order.

I have no idea if there was more deliveries on the lots after the eventual ramp-up....
more so due to the redesign ramp up, vs just normal previous gen allocations, toyota trying to figure out production, demand, etc....
But I seriously dont think it's a demand issue due to dislike of the new gen compared to the previous gen so folks aren't buying cuz they dont like them....
Also doing my research msrp on a 24 sr5 wasnt much more than msrp on a 23 sr5, maybe $1k more......

Theyre moving off the lots again is san Diego....
If theyre not moving I think its mostly an econimic factor more than anything, interest rates higher than in the past, people are bleeding money right now due to current situation making everything more expensive, cost of living, food, gas, insurance, EVERYTHING....
Some folks are strapped & when your strapped, if your smart, wanting a new car is no-longer an option......

Same, here seen the numbers but scratch my head cause they are piled up here too even with discounts and no haggling.

I'm in Austin TX. Willing to travel reasonably far for a manual bronze oxide TRD OR.

I'm in the market as well, but looking for a manual OR, and dealer pricing seems to be all over the map right now. There seems to be some great deals nationwide, unfortunately, most of those are 1000+ miles away.

Sales from TOYOTA to dealers, that is…many trucks remain sitting on the lot “unsold.” Official sales figures are not to the end consumer.
