So I have the KC Gravity Pro 6 and M Rack which have been flawlessly functioning. My problem is with the KC 10” C-series side lighting on the M-Rack which has had condensation problems since I bought them in November 2023.

Now KC had been very good with customer service and had replaced them every time with new units but seems like every unit they send had the same problem and I was told there is nothing they can do especially since the lights have been discontinued.

They have already replaced 4 lights free of charge but there is no solution to the problem.

I just looked online and they suggest to remove the breather screw and wait until the condensation disappears but with the snow and rain alternating between days I am reluctant to take them off while the truck sits out in the driveway. These lights cost $700 for 4 of them. I also have $30 Amazon chase lights that were installed in the same time span and have no issues with condensation.

anybody with this experience and any permanent solutions?

Not sure if this is possible based on where you live, but wait for a low humidity day park it in the sun, remove the breather and place a wet dry vac over the breather (You might need to make a homemade attachment with rubber hose, duct tape to cover a small breather hole, hold it over the hole....wait for all the condensation to disappear.
I did something similar with a headlight a while back and and it worked. It will be slow going at first, but 15-20 minutes it all disappeared .
I am going to assume it will probably return because you have bad seals in your $700 lights. You may want to look into getting some cheaper ebay lights that are the same size.
I have had good luck with ebay lights and they have been just as bright and durable as the high dollar lights. The only time I got condensation in my light bar was when the lens cracked (rock impact) and then it got moisture in it...but it still worked.

    Good Luck

I would like to hopefully fix this condensation issue because these KC lights have a proprietary fit for the KC M-Rack. I would have to make a bracket to fit a different brand of lights. I might just take these lights apart and seal it better. It doesn't make sense how the Amazon $30 chase lights have no issue compared to the KC lights.
