Deciding to lump together a thread of everything I've done to my trucks thus far; partly for posterity, partly because its getting hard to remember everything. Going to do my best to keep post one updated and organized, and will definitely be slowly adding to it as I have time/find pictures

The truck in question is my 2016 TRD offroad in BBP, bought in June 2020 with ~50k miles right before the market went to dogshit (I don't think the timing on this could've been better if I tried haha). Truck was bone stock and super clean when I got my grubby hands on it, frame was immaculate, previous owner had it from new and dealer maintained it at the location I bought it from with records, everything you wanna see from a used vehicle! I bought this truck to replace a B7 Audi A4 that was leaking oil out of no less than 3 separate locations, at which point I decided it was time to kick that thing off and get a truck. I'd been doing more and more side work, and wanted a bed both for that and the extra utility around the house. This is my first ever pickup after only driving Subaru's and the aforementioned Audi, and I don't think I'm ever going back to not having something with a bed.

The main ethos of my build is keeping things strong and light, these trucks can very quickly and easily become a bloated pig so I work hard to fight that when I add and change things. I tend to be pretty rough with the truck off road and every mod I do needs to be up to snuff. If something breaks I try to replace it with something better, if there's a need to be filled I try to do so in a way that future-proofs myself. I'm constantly thinking about where I want to end up with the truck and how I'm gonna get there so that when the time comes to make a decision the legwork is done. Buy once, cry once right? So now on to the good stuff...
