    Hi everyone,
    The fuel pressure regulator on my 2006 Tacoma with 2.7l is leaking at the base of it from looks like rust.
    The replacement part 23280-75061 is impossible to find so far on many website even Toyota doesn't know if there will more made.
    Any alternative to that problem?PXL_20250117_143500156.jpg Screenshot_20250118-192626.png

    I suspect that you may need to update the high pressure fuel system to match that of a later year. The regulator itself is available;

    That's a 4.0L, OP has a 2.7L. Different part numbers, regulator is the same from 05-15.

    Standard Motor Products lists one (PR374) but it shows out of stock on rock auto.

    I now realize that the OP has a 4, and I showed the part for the V6. But, is this NOT the same part number? "23280"

    @TnShooter yes from Canada

    @eherlihy yes same beginning numbers. I guess I could put this one in, cut the pipe and put a injection fuel hose and clips.
    That sounds like a good option

    Thanks

    @TnShooter look post #5 that's where I called.

    @eherlihy I think I will complete the upgrade by getting a new hose with the specific clips connectors for pressurized fuel lines

    Thanks again

    @eherlihy thanks for your idea...I installed the part number 23280-31010 and connected the fuel line directly to it. Works perfect. Didn't have to cut the pipe cause I'm not using it anymore. I have to change the vacuum hose(I put a temporary one because the original was too short) but the truck runs great and no more leaking
