I am looking some mechanical upgrades to my second gen tacoma. I just want something that will last I hunt on mine and it has no problem in the mud I'm just worried about the trails I have to ride to get there I can tell some of my front end is giving. What kind of upgrades do you guys suggest or what company's. Looking for toughness... also looking a future 2.5 to 3 inch lift.

Guesseted spindles, sliders, and quality bash plates
Stock is tough enough for me and more importantly, simple to repair

    AnotherDude above is right.
Lifts are always a compromise. Toyota builds these trucks well, but aftermarket modifications almost always result in increased maintenance somewhere.

Billstein 5100s are about the lowest maintenance lift out there.

Why I oughta... and Mailbox[OP] like this.

Every change you make brings up a gremlin that you should make another modification to resolve, and on, and on...

The stock Tacoma is surprisingly capable. That said, a properly modified Tacoma is shockingly capable.
