Sorry to hear that, hope you get better. My ex had seizures from time to time. I have not seen her since 2005. It could be cleared from her body or she still have it... I thought about going to visit her which she lives 2 hours from here.. I don't know.

 

Yeah, the snow started at their place about 2:30 this afternoon, and is expected to continue until 10:30ish.

 

They are supposed to be having snow over their way but I’m not sure how much. There are some pictures of our beach, Pensacola Beach, on earth cam and it’s snowing there

I've been saying for years that whoever is responsible for putting the stupid in the water has overdone it.

 

The bigger problem is that there aren't many places that are qualified to repair fire engines, outside of the manufacturers.

 

Anyone know anything about repairing electric ovens? My ex-MIL called that her oven quit. I went to see what I could figure out. The temperature probe ohms out good, and the element has continuity, though I didn't feed power directly to it to verify it does heat up. All of the burners on the stove work, as does the broiler. Much of what I've done, including watching a couple of videos, is pointing at the main board, specifically the oven relay, which I noticed didn't click when I turned the oven on.

She obviously doesn't want to shotgun parts at it just to find it costing as much as a new one. The temperature probe can be found as a generic replacement for $16. The element, doesn't appear to be readily available as an aftermarket, Frigidaire's cost is $174. The main board is supposedly available as aftermarket, but none I've found so far has the same plug configuration. Frigidaire's price is $225.
