Hello I’m a new member, happy to be here :).

I am in dire for assistance for my new headlight installation process. If anyone is familiar with Alpharex headlights, specifically the Luxx and Nova, then you would be aware of the fuse tap chord you have to fish through the front of hood towards your fuse panel. Well, it is fished through and when I plug in the cord to the recommended IGN15A location for it, my truck won’t start. I’ve experimented with it and the truck turns on just fine when it’s unplugged. I even plugged it in a 2nd time, double checking that it’s in properly, to confirm it’s the fuse tap that’s not allowing it to start. It is indeed the reason why my truck won’t start. I’m not sure what to do because the videos I’ve seen only advise you to plug them into that specific fuse. Can anyone help my issue?

I’ve tried seeing other possible solutions on different forums, but can’t seem to find the right one for me. … and Alpharex support line won’t answer….
    Thanks in advance.

    EDIT: FIGURED IT OUT

Most likely had the fuse tap backwards. Common error. Just turn the tap around. Its directional. Power only flows one way.
