Sulfur is better for the ground and for edible plants.

The soil tester said it was around 7.5 -8 in some some spots. Couldnt really tell since the ground is froze i couldnt check it all. But basically on the edge for blackberries. And blueverries will need more acid soil.

They will love more acid soil. More fruit and less leaf drop, in my experience.

Do you just sprinkle the stuff on top and let it work its way in?

Yes, rake mulch back, sprinkle, water (if it is warm enough outside to water), put mulch back on.

Seems as though even in the greenhouse we had some low temperatures that wilted and killed a few plants. The snow does not seem to have affected the kale, cabbage or romaine lettuce.

Sulfur, Aluminum Sulphate, and Peat Moss really helped my berries last year. To my surprise, Walmart already started putting Spring stuff out the other day, picked up a Ouachita Blackberry Bush.

I was reading something saying aluminum sulfate wasnt as good because of it absorbing aluminum.
