Not a big problem, but my liftgate will not close properly because it is bumping into cover. I have to push it closed everytime. Also, won't disengage when I hit the auto down feature. I will get it looked at when I take it in for first service. Other than that the Tonneau is great.

    Anyone with a similar issue?

I have the 2024 TRD Pro Double Cab.

sounds like a simple fitment issue - there must be something you can adjust to make the rear of the cover sit a little bit higher and remove the interference.

Loosen 4 nuts holding tonnau at front of bed rails

slide cover forward so that the inward edge of the tailgate makes contact with the second rib on the tonnau cover weatherstripping.

    tighten nuts

Just tint and ppl for now.
Does the pro have the backflip type cover? If so, there two thumb screws (one on the pass and one on the driver's side) closer to the front of the bed (underneath) that will allow you to align the cover. Loosen them up a bit and give the cover a nudge towards the front of the truck slightly so that it clears the gate. Keep it straight so it still aligns when closing. You don't want to push it too far or else it won't clear the rearview mirror camera when you have it opened all the way.

thanks for the responses. Yes it is the back flip type cover. I had New Tundra with the same cover two years ago. It got a factory recall. It was a mess. The cover move all over the place and the local dealer could not touch it. Hopefully Toyota has learned.

I will try the bolt adjustment. Once again, it works great. No leakage just annoying.
