Back from the Chiropractor - he really woke up my back...

I'm taking his advice and sitting in the chair with a heating pad for a bit, hopefully it will calm down.

That one might be a bit over the top for a home generator 28000 watts would power a huge building like a Dollar General. I like the Westinghouse gen sets, I've the 9500. I personally wouldn't consider the hot tube to be on my list of emergency power items. I'd drain the pump if I was worried about it freezing. But that's me. You need to add up the total power consumption of all the gadgets you plan to run at one time, hvac, fridge, freezer, hot tub, lights, microwave, coffee pot, etc. You should be able find that info on the data plates or online searching for the model numbers. I doubt you'll need any more than a 13K gen set, even with the hot tub.

Heating pad for the back is all good and well, just don't fall asleep on it. I made that mistake last year and woke up in full spasm it took me legit 4 hours to crawl out of bed it hurt so bad. Worst pain I've ever been in.

 

Not being told that the heater is broken in the work vehicle AND not wearing a jacket because you're wearing a hoodie and 17 isn't *that* cold (with a functioning heater) makes for a chilly ride.

 

Ours turns itself off after 10 minutes.

I just want the hot tub heater to stay on during a power outage in the winter months . We would not be actually using it during a power outage . You are correct ,I think that one is a bit overkill . Weighs over 500 pounds also .

 

Even my 9.5K is heavy enough I need the wheels and handle bar to move it around, I'm certainly not picking it up by myself.

 

With my broken ass old body 25 pounds is the max
