Yes, I would believe this to be the case for all vehicles. So, have an appointment next week for my second oil change and whatever BS magic is necessary to turn off this notification.
In the future, is there a way to turn this off myself? I will be doing all of my own maintenance in the future. MTG

To turn off the "maintenance required" light on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, you need to access the vehicle's settings menu on the infotainment system, navigate to the "maintenance reset" option, and select "yes" to confirm the reset; this will typically require turning the ignition to the "on" position without starting the engine and using the trip meter reset button while following the on-screen prompts.

Resetting via the stereo will not clear that pop up I don’t think. But it will reset any maintenance reminders you may have set manually

I wasn’t replying to you just providing info for OP. That’s why I didn’t quote you and liked your comment?

Is this something like the tpms that the US requires? My '23 has never alerted me to do maintenance. Then again I keep on top of the maintenance, so it shouldn't have the maintenance sensor go off.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
I beg to differ - you need the manual. It literally would have been faster than going to a computer, opening a webpage, creating a new thread, and waiting for the inevitable "RTFM" replies. Next time .. RTFM.

The message is likely US only to try and get you to take the truck into the dealer to be serviced. It comes on at 5000 mile intervals and does not have any sensors or even pull data from the ECU/ODB II to predict the need for it.

The button on the right side of the steering wheel. Scroll around you will find it. Takes 10 seconds.
