Hello trying to decide rather or not this is a good idea or even worth my time trying a 1” body lift. Im aiming to fit 34s or 35s for more ground clearance by raising the body 1” and using a 2.5” lift to get above 3” without maxing out suspension. I don’t want the standard 2” and 33s like everybody else has or cut and beat a lot to fit 34 or 35s. Would that 1” minimize all the cutting and beating or even none? I’m eyeing the eibach stage 2 at 2.5” or fox 2.5s or simply 5100s and ome 2888s unless someone has other suggestions to squeeze out more. I’ve seen having to adjust rear bumper, new ucas, a diff drop, regear, tune maybe ecgs. Anything else I’m missing? In my head I’m thinking of playing it safe at 2” from suspension, 2-4” from wheels depending on size I go with and 1” BL for a total of about 7” increase to cab height with 4” more ground clearance? I think it would look and have a great stance and have no negative effects really. Am I missing anything? Would that extra 1-1.5” be worth it?

The cab mounts are in the same place even with a body lift.
    It's going to rub......

So would the 1 inch body lift save me from trimming more of the inside I’d be fine with cmc?

If you went to a 35 from a 30.5, assuming a true 35, you'd only gain 2.25 inches of clearance, not 4". Whatever the tire increase in height is, you cut in half for your increased clearance.

Welcome, one thing you’ve not mentioned is what size 34/35s you want to go with and your backspace. I don’t think you’ll get away from cutting no matter which size you go but skinny 35s and the sweet spot backspace will help out. There are a few good threads here all about fitting 35s.

Pretty sure you won’t see many body lifts on the 3rd gen’s since they don’t seem to be beneficial. I could and might be wrong on that but from when I searched before, it wasn’t a common thing.

It is good to think outside the box and consider all angles. Everything in fitting bigger tires is going to come down to 1/2" inch here and there, up, back and forth for turning. That is why guys say cut to fit and bore out the wheel well area first before a body lift and raising that weight higher above the frame.
An easier method to try out and test before body lifting or cutting avoidance would be to suspension lift your truck and extend bump stops to limit compression.
