Prerunner 2005 rear axle

    Hi all,

    I have a 2006 prerunner with a bent axle. I need to replace the housing and an axle shaft or the full axle assembly. I'm leaning towards swapping out the axle assembly. I have some questions:
    Would a 4x4 axle assembly fit without any mods?
    What is the difference between a 4x4 axle and a 4x2 prerunner axle?
    My axle has an elocker - Would I be able to get a housing that did not have an elocker?
