That looks good. You should try this but don't do it if you have overnight guests, they'll never leave...

    Sounds good

    Cumin seems interesting!

I went heavy on caraway seeds. Really made a nice flavor profile like goulash. Frankly I could have used more beets but using highly spiced kraut in the cook was umami marvelous.

I've got some oxtail in the freezer I've been thinking about cooking one day soon, you may have inspired me. In the restaurant the chef paired oxtail with tenderloin medallions so there would be some flavour on the plate.

    More Creami fun.

This one started off as banana sorbet (literally just frozen bananas) but I added some chocolate peanut butter protein powder to it. Seemed to work pretty well.

    20250125_143431.jpg

The pineapple sorbet didn't turn out all that great until my wife suggested i add some orange simple syrup someone gave her for Christmas. The extra sweetness did the trick.

Next time I'm going to try it with pineapple in syrup instead of juice and skip the simple syrup.

    20250126_153311.jpg

I have peaches in the freezer for tonight. :D

Rabbit may be my favourite meat. There is a slight sweetness to it. The only similar thing I've had is gibnut, a large vegan forest rodent in Belize.

How easy are those bad boys to clean? Chuck it all in the dishwasher?

I think I can only find frozen around here. Better than nothing, but far from knowing that it's "fresh". Haven't really made any. Just found out I can get ducks at BJs and that's a lot for my usual rotation

I've always found rabbit to be .. well greasy .. that's the best way I can describe it. Like a super greasy chicken.

I would almost assume it was exclusively prepared deep fried if that was the case. As @Pablo8 pointed out, it is very lean, I've even heard that rabbit starvation is a thing in survival situations, just not enough calories to keep a body alive forever, if that is all that's consumed

I've just washed off the lid and stainless steel blade right after using them and hand washed the ice cream containers when they're empty. Takes seconds for each one.
