I was trying to put my spare tire back under the bed of my truck, and while the winch turns (even though it’s rusty and hard to move), the jack rod is flimsy and got twisted. Is there a better tool I can use to turn the winch?

    Bump for visibility.

I have wondered about this myself, although never had a problem other than being inconvenienced by it being under stuff in the back seat when I want to lower the spare for whatever reason. If nothing else, I'd like a less flimsy version to keep in the garage. Would be easy to fab but not everyone has that capability and/or time at their disposal..or, I mostly just don't think about it until it's too late.
