Just a flip up bed cover so far
Picked up a new tool this weekend. Springfield M1A Loaded. I’ve wanted one for a while and finally worked out. Now just waiting for the gun club to open back up (zoning issues with the county) to air it out. Gives me time to pick up extra mags, ammo and such.

When you get ammo, keep the bullet weight between 147 and 178 grains, and if possible go with milsurp 7.62x51 ammo. The op rod can be a bit sensitive to hot ammo or heavy bullets. And if you do get milsurp ammo, it is sometimes steel core bullets and many ranges won't allow it because it is hard on the berms and/or backstops. You might want to pick up the latest edition of the book, "The M14 Complete Assembly Guide" by Kulek and McKee. I've had a M1A Loaded for about 12 years, you'll love it but it isn't like any .308 bolt gun you've ever had.
