Beginning the day after a long night road trip, where High Beams were used a lot, noticed the next morning "regular beams do not come on. If I activate the Highs either by "pull to flash" or press the stalk fwd they (the highs) come on but do not indicate on instrument cluster. Meaning, I rotate to "on" position then press fwd for "highs" just to get ANY headlights
If this is a bulb issue, and low filaments are burned out, wouldn't I still get the blue indicator when running Highs? I'll check fuses but a blown fuse affecting just the Lo's..?...and no HB indicator? Perhaps someone has seen this strange combination.
    Not equipped with DRLs

    Are you the original owner?

Sounds like it was probably originally equipped with DRL's and someone attempted to disable them.

If both low beam headlights are burned out your high beams will still work but the dash indicator for your high beams will not work. I had this problem recently. The wiring schematic that causes this strange behavior, and me figuring out this was my problem, is here.

Coming back to this, good info above. Adding to this "double burn out theory" is that I recently replaced the headlight assemblies (yellowing and spider web cracking from old age) with inexpensive AM ones. I will investigate burnt out bulbs possibility first. Ive got a long trip (including WA I-5 ironically) coming up and much of it will be at night. Ive been annoying oncoming drivers for some time now... Thanks
