Thank you! and it's the rough country N2.0 6" lift, toytec 1" body, rough country 3.5" leaf springs, 4" blocks, timbren SES bumpstops. Also added some spacers up front for weight sag with the winch and bumper. Couldn't just add a heavier spring to the coil haven beach send-13.jpg stokes product shoot-14.jpg

BEAUTIFUL! I'm running the RC 4" modified more like a 5" lift. same leaf springs with a lift block so I still have rake.

    Thats badass.

Man, seeing these types of campers makes me want to make one like that vs the GFCamper style. So much more usable room, but more complicated sewing and such as well.

Amen! I think a truck just looks right with some rake. I definitely need to invest in some quality leaf springs to get rid of the block. also a good coilover but there aren't many offerings with the types of suspension we have unfortunately. but hey it works and that's what matters.

I'm 6'2" with a short bed. I just use a tailgate extender tento thingy that attaches to my snugtop and tailgate. can't remember what the product is called but it's pretty nifty. just a sleeping bag and a foam mattress. it works out.

Hellll yeahhhh!!!! Sweet build! and yeah, I've never had any problems with my setup handling what I do. My mates say I hit the gas when normal people hit the brakes hahah. It's wild the complications, components failing you see with more expensive setups. Rough country seems to get a bad wrap without any examples to really back it up. I always figured I'll just upgrade if anything goes, and it has yet to happen. That picture on the river gave me a good laugh. Damn that looks like a dream camping spot. Bet that sky was amazing at night!

Nothing like some good ol' pine trees! I do a lot of camping in the pine barrens here in NJ. A lot of people think I'm crazy, as these parts are overpouring with all kinds of folklore and sightings. But I find it to be one of the most beautiful and peaceful environments I've ever experienced

fuck yeah buddy! either you live in a fairytale or you have a really bitchin camera! lol that's awesome. keep a lookout for that Jersey devil... he probably respects the build enough to leave you alone lol. I'm paranoid of bears so I've always got a firearm. You're single cab is too cool not to mention your camper looks more cozy than my living room.

for real. I've read everything from bent brackets to broken diffs and haven't actually seen any examples online. if you have the money BDS would definitely be the best option with the Fox shocks but for what it is it gets you outside playin in the dirt! and at the end of the day that's what matters. I've ran their leaf springs and kits on my wife's Jeep and on square body Chevys I've owned in the past but the independent suspension game is a different deal for sure and I think they do a good job. and I think if you just ran a stock rig, their cheap shocks do just fine.

have you ever weighed your setup? I've kind of built mine to try to be somewhat light.

lmao, the respect is mutual. and yeah, I'm in it everyday and it still blows my mind how much room is in here! And I always have my bear horn and bear spray on hand. Spray went off in my hiking bag, think it will suffice for most things

And yeah you see people post about going with their products and people saying how they'll regret it and blah blah blah, meanwhile those people talking don't even do anything with their rigs. Agreed! Whatever gets ya out there. I haven't weighed my setup. I have been asked multiple times recently, and someone told me I can pay $10 at a truck stop to do it, so I'll get it weighed when I can. I'd imagine everything in the back is 500-700lbs fully loaded

Rad! a gal I work with has the same truck I do with a smart cap which only weighs 200 lbs... think it's mostly aluminum. My snugtop weighs like 400. Like they infuse the fiberglass with lead or something lol. I can imagine with 35s and the weight of a conventional slide-in camper must be a lot for the v6. Granted you're geared and have less weight with the single cab n all. I regret not doing this suspension kit the first time! I first went with old man emu which is a great setup but the extra lift and clearance is more fun.

nothing special. I went with the window pet screens and it has a wired in LED light with USB ports. it's dirty now but in the summertime camping is nice. it's nice being a grown man with a clubhouse lol. NO GIRLS ALLOWED. unless they're... idk loose. :anonymous:
