Good morning guys! I hope you all had a great weekend.

Jeff, Saturday morning was a chilly 29* up here. It was a cold night for a few of the radio club guys who camped Friday night after we set up some antennas and gear for the field day event.

Rusty, hope the chiropractor was able to get you adjusted.

Weather wise, we’re back to normal for the next 10 days. It’s a little rainy today but going up to 65 today, 45 and 70* for the rest of the week

You should be safe for a bit ... we're heading back down to single digit temps, some negative overnight.

A few pictures from this weekend’s field day. My buddy Mike was camping also so we went all out and set up the ARB awning room for him to sleep in and also be our radio room. I was sleeping in the back of the truck like I normally do.




Mike dove right in and started running the radio as I was helping get some other gear set up.

The club ended up running 6 radios for the event on different frequencies. We aren’t a hard core contesting club so there was a lot of goofing off and socializing going on. By the end of the event period we had over 200 contacts and we didn’t run all night like some clubs do. It was a fun weekend and I’m really glad we weren’t doing it in the snow!
