Cashless College Daily Driver/Camping Rig

What's up TW, I have lurked in the shadows for about a year now so I figured I might as well contribute a little, here's my build thread. This is gonna be a real slow process as I definitely don't have money to be spending on this truck, yet here we are anyways. I do mild offroading and plenty of camping so it will be used to get out into the woods as well as my daily driver.

Truck: 2021 TRD Off-Road Short Bed in Super White


Within the first week all of the chrome on the exterior was plastidipped. I ordered blackout covers from various places (mostly MESO) for the interior. I also did the black mirror signals, a bed mat, and the Tyger soft roll up tonneau cover. Finally, I put in a Guild Outfitters outlet near the passenger seat to charge my laptop.

I plan on doing a lift, probably either 5100s or 6112/5160, bed rack + RTT, roof rack, bumpers, lights, and all of that fun stuff.

 

A few "bigger" mods since I got the truck,

Expedition Essentials 3TPAM and a DIY Quadlock phone mount on a ram ball.

Auxbeam switch panel in preparation for some upcoming mods - temporarily mounted it to the fuse box cover with 3m tape because the mount it came with didn't agree with me

Forgot to mention^ I also have RCI's front skid plate after I scraped something on a rock while camping in Mark Twain National Forest.

BA 4x4 Hiline Front Bumper


I put a Rough Country 9500lbs winch in because it was cheap and I probably wont need it often if ever, I also put in a Roadshock lightbar from harbor freight, I like the blacked out look better than the typical cheap chrome lightbars from Amazon.

A little tip, the opening for the light bar is actually about 20.5 inches, my 20in I got from amazon (turned out to be about 19.5in) was too small so I went with the 22in from harbor freight and it fits great.

I also installed the MESO ultimate map lights (dome light to come) in dual color


The lightbar works pretty well for the price, its nothing fancy but I don't have any complaints so far.

 

Light bar looks great with the black face.
