Ark Splash Guards and Taco Vinyl stickers for an extra 5hp. Splash Guards were kind of pain to install and required trimming because I have the icon top hat reinforcement plates. Also, it's not one piece as I thought. Main reason I got it is because the factory pieces would rattle something fierce on the driver's side. Will be test driving these tomorrow to see if they are quiet.

Edit: reporting back that the Ark splash guards are good to go. Still wish they were one piece, but they are holding up well. Zero sound from them.

The weather was in the lower 40’s today . I installed a set of SAE street legal fog. ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DD8GXKF).I made my own brackets an I utilized factory bolts to mount the brackets. I also installed a set of off road spot lights (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PV1QVJX)on an accessory switch for backup lighting. I didn't want to splice into OEM backups light. Would blind people every time I hit reverse. I mounted these to the frame by rear bumper. The frame has two holes. I utilized one of the holes to mount the lights.

A few things since picking up the '24 TRD Sport Taco (in no particular order):
-Added rear LEFT side ARB tow hook. The right side of the rear came with step installed by dealership. I kinda like the one sided look for now.
-Added blacked out exhaust tip. It's the OEM one and I was ok with paying the price for it. Looks clean and fits perfect.
-TRD red vinyl sticker (ordered off eBay) on front grill. I think I'm going to switch it out from the 3" one to the 4" one. It's a nice little touch.
-Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 265/70r17 from Discount Tire. It's definitely a different feel but I like how aggressive they look. It's only been 2 days but I might have to get the 285s. I want that bigger tire. There's currently no lift on my truck and my wheels are the Voxx Pro Replicas. They are 17X8 with 0 offset. There is poke for sure. I like the stance.
-Tinted the front windows to match the rear ones.
-Added the predator OEM steps. My kid appreciates it.
*Next is going to be the front tow hook install. I have them already and I just need to put them on. They were off eBay and I paid roughly about $100 for them.
*I also plan on installing my recovery boards on the back of the truck like I did on my 2017 TRD Off-Road (see photo)
My dealership had previously installed the bed rail lights and those are a game changer. I love them.
That's it for now. I'm stoked about the progress.

*Not going to go with BFGs but that tire is there to show the difference between the 265 vs the 285. Might have to go up to that size.

Traction boards installed on my '17 taco.

Just for fun; my 2017 TRD Off-Road.

Do you have the 285 BFG's or was that just a tire at Discount?

The folks at Discount Tire are great! Best tire buying experience I've had in a while. Truck looks great.

Added LED DRL/front blinkers. Head scratcher that Toyota put incandescent bulbs there and LEDs everywhere else... Anyways, the LED's look nice, and are far brighter.

EDIT: also turned the fake engine noises thru the speakers and seatbelt warnings off...

I don't have the 285 BFGs. They were there at Discount Tire and the guy there wanted to just bring out a tire that size to compare the two tire sizes. I'm going with the 285s now. I had BGFs ko2s on my 3rd gen and they were fine but I wanted to go with Mickey Thompsons this go around.

    *UPDATED

Went from 265/70r17 to 285/70r17. Still with the Mickey Thompsons and the Voxx Pro Replicas 17x8 with 0 offset. Just a tiny bit more poke. I don't even notice it. NO RUBBING and NO CUTTING. I didn't even have to remove the plate in the wheel well. So far so good. And I feel like they ride better than the smaller size. Now I want to do a lift next.

A much better stance than before and I like that it gave me a bit of a lift too.
