Strange engine noise

    (2002 tacoma trd offroad limited) I have a metallic noise coming from the left side of my engine when i accelerate, im not sure at all what it is. I want to say it only started happening after i got gas today. I'll do my best to attach a video.

    Sounds like an AC idler pulley to me. But that's a real shot in the dark just listening to a 5 second clip with poor audio by a half deaf guy.

    You're going to want to get an automotive stethoscope (they're like $10-15), and rule out causes more precisely that way

    I do think noise is rotational

    could be coming from a host of areas
