    First I have made here

    2008 4x4 4cyl Manual Transmission

For context I was driving decently quick in a dirt wash, I had hit a whoop (not the hardest one ive hit by far, and was not really all that hard in general) had felt an immediate loss of power and at idle it was rocking gently back and forth. It felt like only one cylinder was firing and the check engine light was flashing. I had limped home struggling with no power (I was afraid to get stranded so I never turned it off heading back) and turned it on and off again when I managed to get to my driveway. All of a sudden the engine ran fine and the flashing light is gone. Will get to reading the code when I get a chance but I would like assistance in knowing what went wrong and could I prevent this from happening again since it scared the living daylights out of me

Poor judgement on my part but also really weird.

    Thank you.
