After reading previous threads on this subject at TW, I purchased a set of 1.5" wheel spacers from Amazon.. Noting the length and hardness of the spacer studs. After a lot of research on this, I found some interesting facts,
Buy spacers with a 12.9 stud rating. The most important difference between a grade 10 and grade 12 is the number of turns that the lug nut needs in order for safe driving conditions. Grade 10 is around 10 full turns while the 12.9 is around 8. The spacers I purchased well exceeded those requirements. Took a wire brush to the trucks wheel mounting surface and OEM lug bolts. Then cleaned them to remove any oil or grease. Installed the spacers using Lock Tite orange (recommended from a TW thread) Its a strong semi permanent thread locker.. Torqued the SPACER to 88ft/lbs. This is recommended so that when you go back to re-torque in a couple of 100 miles and re-torque to 83 ft/lbs, it should not break the lock-Tite seal on the wheel spacer studs. (recommended OEM torque for the rims is 83 ft/lbs)
