315s surprisingly don’t rub at all after BMR and some extra cutting. My old 295s rubbed when I just had a BMC, the relocation really does a lot for fitting big tires.

Learned that you CAN lock yourself out of the Taco if u leave ur fob in the center console, windows up and u change the fob battery in the spare fob and test it to make sure it works by unknowingly hitting lock vs unlock and then wife drives off to work before u with the spare fob in her purse (u know, in case u get locked out at an inconvenient time) and you grab the door handle to get in the Taco and the "oh shit " moment hits u! Damn- Locked out! Lesson learned. I guess I gotta stash the tailgate spare key somewhere in the garage.

Anyone see these bad boys? I haven't been able to find a set of tail lights that I like, and these definitely finally seem to fit the bill.

Heard atrocious things about AlphaRex though. Claims a 2 year warranty though

I would suggest morimotos over those. Not much more $ and 5yr warranty. And their (the Retrofit source) customer service is awesome.

I agree Mori is a much better brand, I just REALLY think these would fit my truck so well and it's the first set I actually really like the design of.

The only other design I like is the OEM pro's, might end up just getting those with a VLED or Total tail kit if I don't risk it on the Alphas

I'm old and ignorant. What good is accomplished by stashing the tailgate key.

Have you seen the form one’s? Made with diode. I went went alpharexx alphas because I found a discount on them from govx and the price was extremely good. But once these fail I will go with the form lights

Fender flares,
Bite the bullet and just crawl under the truck to change the oil. While I did not convert to a spin on filter, I did install a quick drain valve replacing the OEM oil pan bolt. And cut out some SMALL access holes for the drain and filter in the SR5 skid plate (TRD Pro skid plates come with those access areas). I dont have to remove the skid plate and can change the oil in about 15-20 minutes

Resolving the situation in the post they quoted. Opening the door to get the key/fob that starts the truck which you accidentally locked inside. Tailgate and door are keyed the same

So today I installed remote start into my SR5. Winter has been pretty brutal here and I was jealous of my wife's CRV remote start. used the Start X kit from Amazon - worked like a charm, took about 25 minutes to install. Did it over my lunch break.
