I use metal JerryCans… they come with a metal spout that has a breather tube built in.
I’ll be honest tho… I use the D battery fuel pump from TSC I got on sale. I don’t even have to pick the can up.
It has that same sensing as gas pumps where it shuts off when level hits the mouth (grounding).

I have have one of those and they’re not too too bad. It’s the other type with the little yellow lock unlock thing that breaks easily and is complete bull shit. Unlock and press spout in/ down to start flow. That’s why I have the one in the video in the first place because that’s all that was available except on the big can ( 5 gal.?) I have for K2 that I use for Dyna-glo heater I use for the garage….

 

Morning y'all. Yesterday was a crazy day at work. Bracing for impact on another crazy day at work.

 

Not too long ago, my BIL wanted to go through my change and look for bicentennial quarters. No idea why. So my he and my wife went through this thing that was about half full/ empty.



She said I’m taking all this and putting it into the savings. I told her I wanted to go through it them and look for old dimes mostly. Didn’t get the chance. She came home with two dimes and a copper penny with a shield on it . Penny was so worn that even with magnifying glass I couldn’t read the date. As you can see I have to start over. I’ve been filling that fucker for the better part of 15 years. $517 . None of which I’ll never see……

 

Morning everyone. Hope it goes well. Today I do MPU’s ( missed pick ups) in the towns we service. Easy peasy. There is always the “curve ball” I fully expect . Can I go here and help with this or that and blah blah blah . Is what it is

 

Bahahaha..... small story....

When my exwife and I first got together. She didn't drive and my schedule didn't allow for me to drive her when she needed to go to work, so she got to know the bus schedule really good. I would throw my spare change in a container everyday. For the longest time I had no idea why it wasn't getting more coins. She was taking them for bus money....

I have a good size bag with Bicentennial quarters ,mercury dimes , and wheat Pennie’s . If you find any double die coins some are worth a lot . I also have some old paper money that has blue ink and red ink .

 

That sounds about right.

Growing up, they made pancake containers out of cardboard that opened like a spam can (hard plastic that tore the cardboard). My dad would tape it back shut and put a slot for spare change. He would empty his pockets into that each nite. When vacation time came, he would have us open, divide, sort, and count it. That was our spending money. He used to say “This way, you’re not nickel and dimeing me to death.”

 

It’s raining here, but supposed to clear in a few hours…. Sunny weekend.
