Hey everybody, I’m new to the forum and a new Tacoma owner. I recently purchase a 2015 Tacoma and am looking to put on some new wheels and tires. The truck has a 3-inch strut spacer lift, with 2-inch rear lift blocks. The upper control arms were replaced with KSPs. From the research I’ve done it looks like I should be able to fit a 275/70/R17 tire without it rubbing and not having to do any trimming. It’s going to be my daily driver, but I also plan to use it off-road for hunting. I’m in Northwest Florida so it’s primarily sandy roads, mudholes, etc.

I think I’ve finally wrapped my head around wheel offset, but not sure what range of wheel specs I could feasibly go with. I’ve spent hours going through the forum and couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. It seems there’s two issues: Rubbing the UCA and rubbing the wheel well. I really don’t want to trim any plastic and want the wheels flush with the vehicle (no poke).

I’m looking at a set of 2016 4Runner SR5 wheels on Facebook Marketplace. This is a 17-inch wheel, 7-inch width, +19MM offset as measured by the seller. Any opinions on if this will achieve what I’m looking for? Am I better off going with a wider rim or a different offset? From what I understand I wider rim is going to have a higher chance of rubbing. Is there a range of wheel widths and offsets I should try to stay within? I’m looking at Falken Wildpeaks that have a suggested rim width of 7-8.5 inches.

Personally I’d run a 17x8 0 offset and good alignment with caster around 3-3.5*.
