    I have a 17 and remote of fob works every time. Hit lock and lights flash, hit lock again lights flash, hit lock again lights flash and then it starts right up.

    I saw somewhere on here that opting out of tracking disconnected the key fob start feature so I decided to test... successfully started the truck with fob, opted out of tracking, tried remote start again, access denied. Love my truck but Toyota questioned my customer loyalty with that one, albeit I'm pretty sure this will be the norm across all manufactures from here on out. Features cost money and if you think it's free, you are probably the product.

    Did you opt out to tracking or just sever your account from the vehicle? I had to deliberately go into privacy settings and ask Toyota to stop tracking the vehicle. For intents and purposes, my account is still tied to the truck/VIN in the app.

    Unsure why my truck would be any different, I've used remote start successfully 9 out of 10 times prior to opting out of tracking and haven't been able to use it since. I don't have any reason to doubt you, however, I like to think my muscle memory would have been successful for at least one start out of the 50+ times I've tried it since.

    Not sure what the premium package includes but mine has heated leather seats, heated mirrors, sun roof and the Qi charging option.

    yours should have the indefinite remote start then. something is wrong with either your key fob(s) or truck.

    You need to accept connected services master data consent in the app for remote to start, you can have the others disabled though

    It takes like a day or so if I remember correct to start working once you accept it again

    Yes, that is there. I’m just doing this for troubleshooting. It says it can take 48 hours for the update to go through. If the remote start works then, at least I’ll know it’s not a FOB or vehicle issue.
    I can always opt out of the big brother spying on me stuff.
