Every time I jump out of the truck to grab a tool or something and leave it running, it beeps at me like nine times to let me know the truck is still running. I would like to know either how to disable this or where the speaker is so I can disconnect it.

It also beeps at you once for no reason through the internal speakers when you get back into the vehicle. How can I disable this?

I moved a "gigantic" piece of furniture the other day. A whopping six feet long!
So obviously the tailgate was down. Multiple annoying beeps and buzzers while in reverse.
    Forkin' embarrassing.
Help me before i pull out my sidecutters! haha

    As for the external speaker-
When looking to see how to mount my ordered Rough Country rear recovery hooks I saw a speaker mounted on the rear most crossmember (the one that is home to the hitch receiver). It is on the passenger side by the frame rail.

edit: mine is a Hybrid, so this speaker might be for the mandatory sound when the engine is off, but the vehicle is in motion

You can disconnect the speaker, it’s under the drivers wheel well. Undo the flap and listen for the beeps.

I'll get a photo tomorrow. The speaker looks like the mandatory back up alarm speaker i have seen on heavy equipment.

(second photo is laying under the truck with the camera facing rearwards)

It is mounted above the rear cross member where the cross member is welded to the frame rail.

In other words, just towards the center of the truck from the passenger side jack point.

OMG totally agree! It's the back seat reminder beeps that drive me nuts. Lock the truck and it beeps 9 times to let you know there's someting on the back seat. No shit. That's why I locked the truck. So nobody grabs my packouts or any of the other junk I intentionally left on the back seat. It beeps if I turn off the truck at the gas station if my dog is on the back seat. Beep beep beep! Love the truck but it beeps like an anxious grandma. Everyone keeps saying there's a menu setting to turn off the beeps but damn if I can find it.

Thanks buddy, found it today, disconnecting it works like a charm.
Further info that may help somebody else: You can simply undo two 10mm screws that attach both the black fuzzy material and the plastic front spoiler on the underside of the vehicle. Reach up with some pliers and pull the connector loose.
