Weird new noise (not the taco tick)

2008 4.0 manual taco

Anyone know what this sound could be? You have to listen carefully sounds almost like a knock but can only hear it in the cab and not when I'm looking in the engine bay goes away after the truck is warm. Can't find anything on tacoma world about it so if anyone has a link to something that sounds similar would be greatly appreciated.

Lifter is my guess. A bad bearing would be worse when it's warm and the oil was thin.
