    Hi Guys,

I have been lurking here for a while. I am now in the market for a Tacoma.

There are 2 trucks I am highly interested in locally listed by dealers' unfortunately.

    1. 2021 WHITE TRD PRO w/ 57k miles for $40,992, has method wheels and 275's, TRD exhaust, tonneau cover, fully loaded

    2. 2023 Tacoma Trail edition with 35k miles for $37k. stock.

I wanted to see what you guys think of these prices and what which you would pick. Leaning towards the pro due to resale value in the long run. I feel that it is worth to spend the 4k difference to get the PRO???

    Looking forward to your input!

negative 4k for something two years newer, 20,000 fewer miles on the clock, and hasn't been mauled by the previous owner's mods?

    No contest in my opinion

Yea dude… Unless you really want the OEM bells/whistles from the higher trim, the ‘23 is hands down the way to go between the two.
You can even make a lil selling the dumb bed boxes out of the trail edition:rofl:

Id take the lower miles of the newer Trail and then use the 4k saved to invest in OEM LED headlights.

At first I was going to recommend the 23 Trail Edition like others here, but then I changed my mind. Get the fucking Pro man!

#2. Even if the price was the same. Or a bit more.

To *me* the Pro is mostly fluff stuff. It won't do anything the lower models will in terms of performance or reliability.

For $4k less and 22k less miles on the '23. I wouldn't even consider the '21. Pro doesn't do anything for me.

Holy crap, you guys don't mess around on this forum. LOL

Appreciate all the responses. Makes sense to get the newer one and spend the 4k to mod anything else I want. I will be test driving the trail tonight.
How is the suspension on the TE? should I consider changing it soon? Thank god the wheels on the trail is nice. The headlights, fogs and tai ls will definitely need upgrading.

I'd be the Trail for me, hands down, (if the Trail has a crawl control & rear locker)

What options does the Pro give you over the Trail? Does the Trail have Crawl Control, Rear Locker??

Skewp, Leather??? Don't both have the factory lift??
