Got the go ahead to legally drive yesterday from my Neurologist. It’s been 3 years, I have cheated a little bit. Seizures put the driving on hold for 6 months, have to be seizure free for 6 months. Look out public :burnrubber:

It takes a long time to leave dirty dishes!

I’m getting cabin fever so I straightened some odd flooring that has bugged me since we moved. Three different gaps closed up.

Nice outcome. I am going to roast a chicken in the oven for dinner tonight. I rarely use the oven, but I buttoned up all my grills for impending winter weather and do not feel like cleaning the smoker after a cook tonight. I am going to use a method I have never used before, so I hope the outcome is tasty. I am planning on a 4pm dinner.

Good morning. I would like to thank all of you for the positive wishes and offers of recovery therapy equipment. I have done what the doctors and therapist have recommended so I am as ready as I will ever be.

We moved off the farm back in 2021 and this last weekend we were going through one of our storage lockers and came across my most recent pair of Muck Boots, they are the Chore model, and given we now live in a semi-urban condo, I kinda-sorta think I'll never wear them again. Maybe time to donate them to Goodwill.

Maybe save for snow days. The neoprene liners in mine are comfy and slip on without bending truly made for this geezer!

    Morning all:

Don't know about I83, but I81 has had numerous serious multi vehicle accidents as a result of ice and snow, icy conditions being the worse, and I81 is a major truck route. Years ago we had a major snowstorm, I took a different route to work that I knew would be plowed, pretty smooth sailing, but every exit off the interstate that I needed to exit on was blocked by a tractor trailer that was stuck, finally about 4-5 mi. further there was an open exit where I could get off and did make it into work.
Guess the travel restrictions fall under "better safe than sorry", a major pileup would shut the interstate down anyway and that's what they are trying to prevent. :notsure:

As I understand it, the part of Maryland we moved to doesn't get much snow, so that's pretty much out. And as much as I'd love to buy a horse or two and start riding again, I don't see that in the cards. :(
