I noticed a little tiny ding in my front windshield probably from being on the highway. This thing barely has 1000 miles on it lol.

It is super tiny and not deep at all, it is barely there. You can really only see it when the light hits it. But you can feel it if you rub your finger over it. Do you think that’s worth getting filled in or should I just leave it? It’s right where my fingertip is in this photo you’ll see a little dot.

...no, I'd just keep an eye on it. ...I've had at least a dozen of that type, and they don't seem to travel. ....I have 2 like that on my truck now, one of which happened from behind a dump truck several years ago, and the other, from earlier this last summer, was from some asshole with big tires who removed his flaps.

...either way, i'm not sure I have ever heard anyone share their great experience after having them filled.

Most insurance companies will fix that for free. It’s cheaper for them to do that rather than wait for it to turn into a crack and have to replace the windshield. In the last couple years I’ve had both my car and truck windshield chips fixed. Call your insurance and see what they say. (I have AAA insurance)

In our area there are quite a few windshield repair kiosks, and people who set up tents by the side of the road. They offer it free as above, insurance pays them. Look around your area or keep your eye out for one

I would get any chips and cracks that is still fixable fixed asap. Don’t let it get to the point it’s not repairable. My windshield on my ‘24 was smashed in by vandalism and through that ordeal, I learned from dealers that there’s a national back order on the OEM windshield and no aftermarket available. It could be a 3+ month wait for available inventory.
