2007 V6. Deep rattle when starting from stop with cold engine

    I remember hearing what this was a long time ago, but can't find it here now. Sounds like some kind of hose or plastic rattling, but it only does it when cold for the first few starts. It's been this way for 18 years, so obviously not a problem, but just curious if there's a fix.

    Possibly the foam around the intake is gone..goes through the passenger fender. I wrapped mine about 20 times with gorilla tape.

    It's probably the heat shields on the cats. They're known to rust out and do that.
