I have a 2022 tacoma SR that blubs are just now starting to go out I have one yellow driving light and a brake light. so Far I have gotten the slivina bulbs from my local auto parts store- twice for the yellow light and once for the brake light but still are not coming back on.

are there a certain brand I have to get? a common issue with changing out the blubs?

Changing out burnt bulbs shouldn't pose a problem.
If you got "slivina" they may be knock off and not very good.
    Hopefully you mean "Sylvania".
You should replace any bulb with the same type taken out.
If you take the "burnt out bulb" to a reputable place a competent worker can sell you the correct replacement.
The old bulb should have a number on it for reference.

Get the OEM stock bulbs and see what happens. If the problem continues then you have something more going on than a bulb going bad.

I replaced my bulbs(interior and backup) with halogen. Really like the bright interior but the backup bulbs washes out the camera view. I am going back to original when it warms up

You went halogen for the "backup" and they wash out the camera, I thought only the license plate lamps did that. I'm asking because when I replace the rear bumper, I was planning on putting in some lights there to augment the stock backup lights.

I think the backup lamps weren’t replaced because I had an issue getting them out. So I don’t think the license plate bulbs causes this. Hey try it but the side view mirror viewing in the dark was greatly improved.
