No pedal, just the forward and reverse switch on the machine. Guess it’s an older version. The one we had at the HVAC company had the switch like this one as well

I have used them with just the switch - didn't like it.

Easy enough to add one ahead of the plug.

As you know these machines have a giant amount of torque, much safer to select the direction then step on the pedal.

 

We had big drill presses on the production line, all were fitted with foot switches.

I live at the foot of the cascades. It snows where I live more than it does where I work. Couple weeks of morning commutes like that is no biggy. Specially since I got good tires and a taco
I had to hop on this the other day which sucked
So sometimes the snow hits the lowlands and it’s the suck
