hood swap

is doing a hood swap plus 650 for a scooped hood a good deal i’m getting the scooped hood

 

That’s pretty steep but if you think it’s a deal and you really want the scooped hood, then do it. I swapped hoods plus $60 for mine. I was very lucky to find someone to trade with after 4 years of searching

 

Going rate used to be $500+swap. Inflation is a bitch I guess…
I was trying to go the other way but couldn’t find anyone local with red or black, and painting the flat hood would have netted me $0 or cost money in the end.
I don’t like the scoop but don’t care that much. Now the plan is to stuff an obnoxious light bar in there.
Anyway, if it’s worth it to you; do it!

Took me a little over 3 years to find a trade. We just did a straight up even trade. He was from WA state and I'm from AZ. He was going to Vegas for a trip so I met him there. Did the swap right in the parking lot of one of the casino hotels. We got some weird looks but handled it in about 20 mins.

Unless the paint match is near perect, you are paying too much for the swap...

 

I definitely got the better end! Can’t complain after looking for so long
