Intermitten heater fan 2015 Tacoma

The heater fan would not come on yesterday after the truck was shut down for a half hour.
Several miles down the road, it came on. It worked fine all today, but late this afternoon I came out of a store and it would not come on.
I can't help but note that in neither instance did the fan quit while the truck was running.
I notice that an apparently identical issue was reported by another forum member nearly nine years ago. I assume the issue has been resolved! I am the furthest thing from a mechanic, but I fool around with boats and airplanes and these electrical gremlins can be a son of a gun. I am hoping to resolve this ASAP, as it's dead of winter here and even if a guy can stand it without heat, he's out of business if he can't defrost the windshield.
Although the truck is 10 years old, it's in excellent condition and well maintained.

Blower circuit is pretty simple and easy to diagnose.
