I am looking to upgrade my speakers in my 2022 none jbl system Tacoma. I have a sound system with 2 10 in kicker l7’s. What do people recommend for door speakers?
    Add links if possible!

What’s your budget and do you plan on an aftermarket amp or just head unit power?

I have an aftermarket amp and something not extremely expensive. Somewhere to 250 and lower for all 4 speakers. How ever I am open to suggestions.

Might be an unattractive option to you but I would spend that whole budget on just front components and run no rear door audio at all. Something like a Morel Maximo Ultra 602 MKII should be pretty close to your target price range and will sound so much better than any 4 speakers for that budget. If you find down the line you want to add some rear fill you can always do that but just a quality 2-way component set is more than adequate. I have rear speakers in my truck and I always have them off unless my kids are in the back and want to really rock out to some baby shark. If you don’t want to go that route and want to get all 4 speakers now I would strongly suggest spending 80% of that budget on the front speakers and just get something cheap for the rear. Maybe something like JL c1 6.5 component set for the front and for the rear a pair of $50-$70 6.5’s from whatever brand you’re partial to. NVX, ds18, and infinity, are some popular options in that price range.

Thank you very much! I will take this into consideration. This is the first system for me so still all very new.

I have some 6x9 Metra spacers for the Tacoma front door speakers, so if you can use them, send a PM and I'll drop those in the mail.

You mentioned you already have an aftermarket amp
What amp will you be using to power these?
