Forgetting to release the emergency brake when driving off is getting real old with me. The last time I did that I drove 60 MPH for 45 minutes with the E-brake pulled and as a result I had to replace my brake shoes. :frusty:

And since I still forget to release the E-brake I'm considering putting a small buzzer (or something like that) which will sound when the E-Brake is set and the engine is running.

If anyone here has an idea of where I could find something small that might work, I sure would appreciate hearing about it.

Any small 12v buzzer would work, just would need to supply it with fused ignition power and connect the ground side to the E-Brake switch.

My 2nd gen has a beeper if the brake is on with the vehicle moving but mine holds good so it would take alot of effort to drive off with it on.
