Coolant leak

    2004 Tacoma prerunner
    Had slight coolant leak. No other head gasket symptoms but high mileage so decided to do OEM head gasket replacement on 2000 Tacoma 2.7 prerunner. Had head resurfaced at reputable shop. Machinist said his inspection showed head not warped and no cracks obvious . But, leak still persists!! About 1 cup per 500 miles! Could a crack exist and not be obvious to experienced machinist? Any suggestions??
