First: This is my first Tacoma and I know nothing about electrical.
I have a Trailhunter. It has several pre wired auxiliary switches, and from what I read they can handle the load of the Auxbeam ditch lights and light bar lights I got.
Is there any advantage to getting the Auxbeam switch panel?
It seems like I can keep a cleaner look using what I have.
Since I'm new to offroading and learning about overlanding as I go, I am unsure if I should save those for camping alternatives later?

My rig is a daily driver and I'll be using it for off road exploring and camping. I bought it after surviving Helene to build a competent daily driving bail out buggy. I share this so the experts out there understand my goals/needs.

Thanks for any help or insight, it's all new for me.

The Auxbeam panel is very easy to wire in. I had one on my Chevy and loved it. The lights were bright and had no issues with them. I live in Alaska so we have darkness for half the year. I used them just about everyday (night). Gonna order a set for the Taco soon. I had the 90watt 3" ditch light and had them mounted on the hood. I could see about 3-4 hundred yards down the road with them. Great for spotting Moose. Sorry can't help you with your pre wired switches.

Thanks for sharing your insights. I appreciate having info to consider.
I ended up putting the 3" X pro square pods on the ditch lights. The back lighting and turn signals looks pretty clean.
Even with the amber covers on the lights are pretty bright.
    I'm really happy with them.

Ive had a couple people tell me the Baja, Rigid, or Diode are better but they should be, they are all at least 3x more expensive. I feel like I got a good value for my money. I didn't spend top dollar so I'm not expecting 800 yards of vision lol.

Yeah i'm not into expensive lights if I can get ones that are just as good for what I need. They work very well for me.
