    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
WAY beefier than the original one.

I can see why some people say they had a problem with getting it to fit with some bushings. I had to bevel them a little at the corners, inside, nearest the bushing it's self. That way the corners didn't catch on the bushing.

Yes... I have to assemble them tomorrow. I was pretty much done after getting the rack back in. It's kind of a PITA.

    EXACTLY.

Was just glad I had @essjay helping. Trying to do that by myself, I would have said fuck it and my steering wheel would have been, like, 94° off.

Pulling a trailer. Stop at a light, turns green and the truck starts missing… limp it home cylinder 2 misfire. Swap coil packs. Then swapped the wires and it moved to cyl. 4 misfire…Praise The Lord. Picked up a cheap set and it runs smooth. I love easy fixesD79FD98B-EB8A-408F-A4BC-7B15D81AE897.jpg

Well... let's see if we can make all this go together with no extra parts.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how concerned should I be about an electrical burning smell coming from my heater? Seems to be worse the higher the fan is. Or at least did. Now it just seems to do it all the time. Not exactly ideal considering it's about to be -20 outside. I have replaced the blower resistor in the past fairly recently.

    5. Check the contacts and make sure it's not the connector getting a ton of resistance. If they check out, most likely the smell is the resistor starting to fail. When it does, you'll just have no air, or full blast.

Or it'll blow the fuse hopefully....

Probably prudent to at least have a look under the dash with a flashlight, see if anything looks abnormal, or more abnormal than usual.
Something that has helped me, I have had someone somewhat familiar with the truck ride in it with me, and after the ride see if they noticed the same thing, if someone else sees, hears, or feels the same things as me when trying to diagnose something I'm not sure if it is actually happening or not.

Well I do only have like low off and high. No middle settings. Would be annoying if it was the resistor. I think I swapped that in less than a year or two ago.

Getting the shaft on and off and being a spline off is fucking rage inducing. Been there several times. I learned an air hammer is the best way to get the intermediate shaft off the steering racks input shaft.

    Welp... next hurdle.

Total Chaos Lower Ball joints do not fit Solo Motorsports fully fabricated spindles... in case anyone was wondering.

For some reason I always thought the fully fabbed spindles eliminated that failure point.
