If someone is looking into getting the lone peak camper... here is the update. They have built around 250 units since April 2024. The current monthly average is around 80 units, which was the target. It will be a good idea to join their FB group as it is more active. Owner and their team is great at sharing updates and addressing any issues. A new order will be installed in Dec/Jan. If you want to get a discount of $250, you can use my code "LXZ-QWI7LU9". Good idea to place an order for a camper only and you can add accessories later.

I have one on my gladiator. I’ve had it for about 2 1/2 months. Absolutely love it.

It has improved a lot. The initial order took a year plus. This is a new start-up with hiccups. If you go to their website, you will be able to see the order tracker on top of main webpasge. That would give you a good estimate.

It seems to have been around three months as of right now. Do look at the product and new owners' review videos on YouTube, and I assure you will not be disappointed.

I've been following their launch for a while and I'm glad they are finally shipping. I'm curious to see how these perform in the real world. I like the extended tent in theory, but I can't help wonder if snow and rain are going to pile/pool up there. I also think 10' is kind of long on a DCSB as there is just a lot hanging out over the cab. Probably much better on a bigger truck.

I have one on my Gladiator which is a short bed double cab. Originally I too thought it was going to look funny with a long overhang, but I actually think it looks better compared to the shorter go fast campers. And having the longer bed to sleep on and still have a large pass-through area is really very handy.

I paid in April, and it's fully refundable until you finalize your order. (Yes, it's a long time to be without that money gaining interest somewhere else or for any product to show for it, but I wanted my spot in line.) In August I finalized my purchase, three weeks later it was ready (surpassing their 6-week estimate), and I got mine installed at the end of September. My delivery date estimate didn't slip at all in those 5 months, and it actually delivered early (they were tracking to October).

I think their production method is to batch their builds by truck/size. There were few other people with 3G DCSBs the weekend before me and even on the same day.

Very happy with the purchase so far. There's a few items here and there that I can overlook given the price, and they're not anything I can't resolve or engineer a better solution (yet). Customer service with them has been top tier leading up to, during, and after purchase.

Thank you! My brother in law has the 1st Gen taco behind me. Such a great truck. A first gen extended cab, 4 x 4 Tacoma is just about the most perfectly proportion truck ever built. I keep trying to convince him to throw a go fast camper or something on the back of it. Something nice and lightweight and minimalist for him.

Looks like they have been building a ton lately! Anyone else have one to showcase? Still haven't pulled the trigger, but my time is coming soon.

Tested out the setup I’ll be using for my diesel heater. The tire table will be perfect for the heater. Should also be very handy to eat at, play cards, cook at etc…

I’ll swap it to the driver side under the awning when it’s not being used for the heater.

Headed out to a long weekend trip to Pinnacles NP with my girlfriend in two weeks so getting some odds n’ ends taken care of.

Nice. Do you have any info about the temp of the air right at the outlet of the heater, and then the temp of the air at the outlet in the camper?

I am running a diesel heater outside, between two sheds, and am trying to determine if I need to spend more for insulated ducting, if the uninsulated hose bleeds off too much heat.

    Thanks!

Here's mine, had it since March 2024 and love it. Only thing I'd change is not order the vent fan, it has leaked a few times. Finally cranked down on the handle to close it so hard was scared I'd break it, but it hasn't leaked since and I also haven't opened it since. @phdog so far no issue with rain pooling up in minor showers, but haven't been in a good Florida thunderstorm yet to see what happens.
